Brand sites & the move off WordPress

Simple, good-looking brand sites for Nexera's clients — and the migration of the company's WordPress-on-VM portfolio to Next.js on Vercel.
At Nexera I build brand sites for its clients — among them ONE International Holding, a diversified UAE holding group, and Terra Group, a project-management consultancy working across the UAE and MENA. The brief is the same each time: simple, fast, and good-looking — a site that presents the brand properly and stays out of its own way.
Behind the scenes, the company's sites ran WordPress on AWS Lightsail VMs. That meant real money for simple sites, servers IT had to SSH into and restart when they fell over, and access control that came down to handing out SSH keys to virtual machines just to touch a brochure site.
I led the migration of that portfolio to Vercel — new sites like ONE International Holding and Terra Group built in Next.js, existing ones like Amalya Interiors carried over as static exports. No servers to babysit, deploys from git instead of SSH sessions, and access managed per person instead of per key. It saved the company a lot of money — and the team a lot of time.

ONE International Holding, Terra Group, and Amalya Interiors are brands of Nexera's clients; the sites are Nexera deliveries, built and migrated by me as a freelancer there. All product names, logos, and brands are shown solely to document my work on the project and remain the property of their respective owners.
